We are a growing team looking for a mid-level DevOps Engineer to help us on our journey to revolutionize road freight logistics. You would join our InfraOps team in the Barcelona/Madrid office.

ABOUT THE ROLE

As an Infrastructure Engineer, you’ll work on interesting responsibilities like designing and reviewing architecture decisions, automating operations, and ensuring smooth delivery, with a keen focus on reliability, security, and compliance. You’ll act as the bridge between product engineering and infrastructure and enable developers to function deterministically and deliver the best quality products.

IN THIS ROLE YOU WILL…

  • Manage and improve sennder’s highly demanding platform with state-of-the-art technologies such as containers (Kubernetes), serverless computing, Kafka, Postgres, message and event queues, AWS, Terraform, and much more
  • Co-design cloud infrastructure with a product-driven approach and implement infrastructure as code. We are lazy and we believe in DRY!
  • Craft operational aspects of continuous integration, continuous delivery, ongoing compliance, failure, and security attack mitigations, and perform root cause analyses
  • Build internal tooling for the team as well as engineering at large to provide uniform and coherent experience across the organization
  • Design engineering operations for smooth functioning of delivery, processes for service disruptions, and mitigation processes during cyber-attacks
  • Extend observability with a focus on business enablement
  • Train and teach developers on how to use our platform and infrastructure

PREFERABLY YOU HAVE…

  • Confident presentation and strong influence skills with adaptability based on the audience
  • In-depth experience with AWS and cloud-native architecture
  • Working with Linux and knowledge of scripting languages like BASH, Python
  • Continuous learning and are particularly passionate about technology
  • Experience in configuring and running production-grade services in AWS
  • The constant drive for improving processes and long-term thinking
