WHAT WILL YOU DO?
- Partner with the Product Manager and the Development team of the assigned project to define User Stories acceptance criteria for upcoming features.
- Create and update test cases and perform requirements traceability to ensure all requirements are tested and accounted for.
- In collaboration with other QA Engineers, define complete and well-structured testing strategies for upcoming releases.
- Execute manual functional testing, regression testing, and acceptance testing.
- Automate E2E test cases using automation frameworks such as Cypress, Puppeteer, or Selenium.
- Identify and thoroughly document bugs to report them to all interested stakeholders. Keep track of the bugs in a bug tracking system.
- Spread a quality assurance culture within the organization.
WHAT WILL MAKE YOU SUCCEED IN THIS POSITION?
- Knowledge of all the processes in the software development life cycle and all the QA processes and stages involved.
- Feel comfortable testing backend and web-based applications in a wide variety of environments and devices.
- Knowledge of programming languages such as Javascript, Java, or Python. Ability to implement and run shell scripts.
- Ability to report bugs with thorough explanations and all the necessary information needed. Feel comfortable with bug-tracking software.
- End-user empathy and understanding of the business strategy.
- Knowledge of Agile methodologies and the core ideas behind them.
- Fluent in Spanish and English. Written and verbal communication must be fluent and the candidate must be able to write technical thorough documentation.
