As a Junior Data Engineer, you analyze a wide range of business problems, optimize data ingestion and integration processes and make an important contribution to the development of new business models in the eCommerce and healthcare environment. You will work in an agile, cross-functional product team and directly interact with stakeholders from different functional and technical teams, while also enjoying the support and training of senior colleagues and mentors from your first day in the company.
Tasks
- Analyze a wide range of business problems, optimize processes and make an important contribution to the development of new business models in the eCommerce and healthcare environment
- Support the work of other Data Engineers and coordinate cross functionally with diverse teams.
- Work on our analytical platform based on Snowflake, dbt, Tableau, AWS, and other technologies
- Develop and operate data pipelines, model data in the warehouse using SQL/dbt and create complex data products in Python.
Strengths
- A completed technical or scientific degree or comparable training; 1-2 years of practical experience in either internships or a previous role is desirable
- Intermediate SQL Skills
- Profound knowledge in at least one of the two following areas:
- Data Storage and Transformation (e.g. Snowflake, dbt)
- Programming and Pipelines (e.g. Python, Advanced SQL, Cloud Computation)
- Great understanding of customer needs and strong analytical and communication skills
- Agile and effective mindset, fast learner, independence and hands-on mentality
- Fluent English
