Why JOOR? :
What you will be doing;
- You will own and lead our Infrastructure team and grow it to encompass Platform services. This includes DevOps, Shared Services and Architecture
- Build, configure, and maintain the frameworks, tools, and systems that enable optimal performance of our software.
- Build out the CI/CD infrastructure
- Plan for scaling and growth. Work cross functionally to anticipate growth patterns and scaling challenges to ensure that system uptime is maintained.
- Work closely with your team to ensure JOOR platform reliability, developers are able to build functionality successfully and the platform is built in a high quality manner
- Work collaboratively with leads from across the engineering team to plan and execute on the technical roadmap
- Follow industry best practices and help define future design patterns.
We would LOVE to hear from you if;
- You have had at least 7 years of working experience in a DevOps capacity
- You have at least 3 years leading a DevOps or Platform services team
- You have experience in enterprise network technologies as well as experience working in a large database operation environment.
- You have experience in the automation, configuration, and application performance management tools such as Ansible, NetBackup, and VMWare, NewRelic, and AppDynamics.
- You have experience working with Cloud technologies. E.g., kubernetes, and automating software deployment.
