Description: 

We are a Swiss company seeking an Azure DevOps Engineer who is an enthusiastic team player with great initiative and a get-it-done attitude to join our team. We offer a competitive salary and a great life-work balance for a fully remote position anywhere in Italy. You will contribute to the improvement of our processes and will also interface with other areas of the enterprise to facilitate a DevOps process and organization. 

 

Your Main Responsibilities: 

  • Participate in technical research and development of our Azure Cloud solutions 

  • Contribute to the improvement of processes and quality assurance 

  • Automate the provisioning and management of our systems infrastructure 

  • Perform system health and performance monitoring 

  • Follow security best practices 

  • Collaborate with 14 Software Development teams 

  • Handle more than 200 applications across more than 20 different environments and dozens of different technologies 

 

Required Skills: 

  • Experience with Cloud environments, preferably Azure 

  • Experience with scripting languages, preferably Powershell 

  • Experience with Infrastructure as Code 

  • Experience administrating database engines (ex: SQL Server, PostgreSQL) 

  • Knowledge of systems networking 

  • Knowledge of docker containers and/or Kubernetes 

  • Knowledge of Continuous Delivery and Continuous Deployment 

  • Knowledge of NoSQL systems (MongoDB, ElasticSearch, Redis…)
