What You’ll Do
- Improve and maintain the Airflow ecosystem
- Explore ways to enhance data quality and reliability
- Apply data warehouse security best practices
- Take owership for the quality of what the team builds, helping to establish good practices
- Work in an agile environment where your opinions matter
- Deliver code and supporting documentation of the highest quality through good design, attention to detail, and system testing on a timely basis
- Apply best practices on the Infrastructure as Code domain
- Connect with other teams to integrate improvements
What We’re Looking For
- Knowledge of programming languages (e.g. Java and Python)
- You are familiar with current data engineering practices and are curious about new technologies that help derive insights and value from data
- Passion about automation of processes and tooling
- Team player with good communication skills, someone who is easy to work with
- Passion for learning and master new technologies, becoming an early adopter is not a problem
- Infrastructure as code practitioner with tools like Terraform or similar
- Experience with real time data streaming
- IAM management in GCP and AWS
Bonus points
- Deep understanding of the GCP platform with experience in identity federation and IAM management
- Hands-on experience with cloud computing in AWS
- Hands on experience in CI/CD
- You have an understanding of system design, data structures, and algorithms
- Experience with low-latency, high-volume distributed systems and Big Data computing technologies
- Experience or knowledge on Kubernetes
