  • Craftsmanship: You'll foster further development, maintenance and care for our existing models, algorithms and tools and ensure robust, reliable, clean and testable code
  • Shape our engineering culture: You'll contribute to cross-team initiatives to define guidelines, evaluate new technologies, and establish best practices
  • Cross-functional collaboration: You'll develop interfaces to other products for the integration of the machine learning models

Your qualifications

  • Your background: You have at least 3 years of experience in the field of machine learning, statistics, mathematics and software development
  • Agile mindset: You demonstrate excellent collaboration skills, especially in the context of the Agile methodology and working in distributed teams
  • Strategic thinking: You have the confidence and maturity to maintain and modernise our component in respect to our business

  • We offer a flexible work location: You can work in one of our modern Unite offices or remotely – or even do a mix of both
  • Be an early bird or a night owl: You know when you do your best work – all we ask is that you check in with your team to coordinate your schedules and routines
  • Workation: You can work abroad for up to 2 months, which is a great way to extend your time away or visit your family and friends in other countries
  • Enjoy our Unite culture: We invite you to be yourself, join our table tennis league or online games and have fun
  • We think long-term: You can and absolutely should invest an average of 10% of your working time into self-education and your own further training – that’s why we are great believers in offering creative freedom. You’ll also get access to Udemy and our internal learning platform to grow your career
  • Use up-to-date technologies: Julia, R, Python, Java, AWS, Kafka, GitLab, Infrastructure as Code
