Your mission

At AWWG, we are going through an exciting digitalization journey to ignite business growth while keeping our agility mindset. A core area of this program is the Data, Reporting and Analytics work-stream, which will enhance a data-driven culture.

 

From the Business Technology department, we are looking for a Data & BI Manager who will own the roadmap for our digital analytics platform, collaborating with external experts while building internal team’s capabilities, and ensuring a robust data governance across the entire data flow, from data ingestion to data visualization and analytical insights.

 

What will the role entail?

 

  • Engage with Business, with focus on back-office areas: Finance, Operations and Human Resources. Understand their needs and requirements, and walk them through the journey of becoming a data-driven organization.
  • Build self-service reporting capabilities and insightful dashboards.
  • Provide project management oversight required to meet expectations. Responsibilities include the development of presentations and managing relationships with Business Technology counterparts and external partners.
  • Coach and develop the skills of your internal expert team (3 direct reports), while orchestrating their work.
  • Define and enforce robust data governance procedures, making sure that it is kept consistent and secure.

 

Additional responsibilities

  • Adhere to Project Governance corporate standards, from the idea to the solution handover: prioritization, preparation of business cases, development, documentation, testing, training maintenance and support.
  • Identify when external support is needed, and manage relationship with partners.
  • Provide direction on data design, security and identity management, and infrastructure to our in-house database teams.

 

Requirements

Skills:

 

  • University degree or equivalent, ideally in Computer Science, Engineering or quantitative areas.
  • Solid experience in Data modelling and ETL processes, SQL (preferred)
  • Experienced user of data visualization tools: PowerBI (preferred), Qlik or Tableau
  • Knowledge of cloud platforms (GCP preferred) and cloud database management principles
  • Strong project management and prioritization capabilities.
  • Professional fluency in Spanish and English, written and verbal.
  • Team leadership

 

Will be valuable but not mandatory:

- Experience with SAP and SAP Business Intelligence, our current ERP and reporting platform.

- Consulting experience.

- Advanced knowledge in at least one computer programming language such as e.g. Python or R

- Experienced in running AI projects from hypothesis to delivery.

- Experience with Financial reporting and analysis
