What will you do?

You will play a key role in ensuring that the data generated within the ecosystem is handled, stored, and made available correctly and efficiently, applying best practices in data management.

Your experience will range from creating and optimizing databases to modeling large volumes of data, ensuring the highest quality and performance.

Responsibilities

  • Design and define the data-related architecture, leveraging experience in the full data lifecycle, including analysis, modeling, ETLs, data availability, and more.

  • Create and manage data storage solutions, both structured and unstructured.

  • Implement data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes from various sources. Develop and optimize data pipelines using different tools and programming languages.

  • Manage data handling and modeling, ensuring data structures are optimized to support large volumes, complex queries, and advanced analysis.

  • Ensure that data is processed, stored, and made available efficiently.

  • Work with PowerBI, DAX, and data storage in Snowflake.

  • Optimize SQL queries, including advanced tuning techniques (SQL tuning, queries, window functions, etc.), and manage large data volumes.

  • Model data using the Kimball approach (dimensional modeling, star schema).

  • Collaborate closely with data teams and other technical areas to ensure the proper availability and quality of data.

  • If you know about microservices, Java, APIs (OpenAPI, AsyncAPI), or Kafka, it will be a big plus!

How will you do it?

You will be part of an architecture team that defines the software architecture in the area, and you will be the Data specialist.

This team works closely with the Tech Leads (TLs) and development teams to ensure technical quality and consistency, promote best practices, and ensure a solid architecture.
