What You'll Do:
The Retail Media EMEA Analytics team, part of the rapidly expanding Criteo Retail Media business, leverages our grand set of shopper data to design and develop actionable insights for our Retailer and Brand clients. We bring the analytical perspective onto the business and provide recommendations based on high quality data analysis and strong understanding of our industry and products. We leverage our unique position to provide our commercial teams and clients with visibility into shopper behavior, market trends and product performance that can't be found anywhere else.

This position requires working with large sets of data and a variety of stakeholders to solve complex business problems by thinking strategically and proposing innovative solutions. The ideal candidate functions with minimal oversight and has the ability to learn new concepts quickly.
Your tasks will include (but are not limited to):
- Manage and develop a small team of Data Analysts covering EMEA analytical business needs, i.e. conducting ad-hoc analyses for Retailers & Brands to drive business growth and maximize performance by identifying root causes of ad performance issues, missed opportunities and areas of improvement (campaign optimization, inventory expansion, advanced marketing insights, etc.)
- Set and assess team objectives, supporting personal development and helping everyone to be the best they can be.
- Frequently interact with commercial teams and clients to share data-driven recommendations and insights about their marketing efforts
- Develop innovative analytical approaches to measure Brands & Retailers’ performance from design to presentation of results, leveraging all our expertise to turn data into actionable insights (statistical thinking, A/B testing, data visualization…)
- Proactively identify and implement processes, SLAs and tools improvement or optimization to maintain our Operational Excellence
- Proactively identify and collect analytical, tooling and reporting needs from Commercial and Technical teams
- Lead the team and technically assist them to design, develop and maintain self-service analytics tools used by the Retail Media organization, leveraging the full Criteo analytics stack and massive Hive and Vertica databases
- Drive project delivery, continually reviewing personal and team results against our high standards, taking corrective action where needed to ensure success
- Develop and maintain deep knowledge of Criteo Retail Media products, technologies, and position in the marketplace as they evolve
Who You Are:
- You have management experience, preferably within an international context, and in a fast-growing technology driven environment
- Project management skills ensuring that your team meets deliverables on time and according to identified business needs
- Strong analytical skills: solid experience within Analytics and Data Science. Both SQL & Python are a must
- You must have the combination of technical skills, passion for learning, and the soft skills to work with all personality types in a dynamic environment
- Keen intellectual curiosity and ability to structure and solve difficult problems with minimal supervision
- Passion for translating data-speak into relevant, compelling stories
- You have exceptional attention to detail coupled with an ability to see the big picture
- A background in e-commerce or AdTech industry is a plus.
- Fluency in English required
