Being part of a global CloudOps team and Reporting to CloudOps Director, you will be leading a group based in Spain supporting the Devo platform across the different clouds and

ensuring the systems are running properly and efficiently. This role requires a high degree of independence, ownership and responsibility with prior experience in production support of a SaaS platform.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage, distribute and delegate workload between team resources.
  • Provide rapid troubleshooting, remediation, and root cause analysis of production issues.
  • Ensure the overall delivery of a quality operational service.
  • Monitor platform performance and capacity to ensure that they meet business needs.
  • Define and continuously refine team's operational processes and procedures.
  • Provide mentoring and support to team members as necessary.
  • Collaborate with the other worldwide Cloud Operations managers in global strategy and team work plans.
  • Collaborate with other technical teams, specially DevOps and Engineering.
  • Stay alligned with relevant stakeholders and transmit accurate information, even for non-technical people.
  • Participate in continuous service improvement initiatives to drive efficiency and automation.
  • Management reporting as necessary.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent applied work experience, relevant to Computer Science.
  • 5+ years working on production environments.
  • 5+ years working on SysOps/DevOps with Linux based large scale distributed systems.
  • 5+ years working with configuration management tools (Ansible, Puppet, Chef, Salt...).
  • 5+ years working with version control code tools (Gitlab, Github).
  • 5+ years working with CI/CD Pipelines (Jenkins, Gitlab CI...).
  • 3+ years working with Kubernetes.
  • Ability to work on complex environments and complex issues.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
