The Role ✨


The Cloud and SRE Engineering Manager is responsible for two engineering teams within the Platform Engineering department: the cloud engineering team and the site reliability team. At Stuart we operate under a “you build it, you own it” approach and it’s the responsibility of these two teams to create and maintain all the required systems and tooling that our developers rely on, including our container orchestration clusters, our observability stack, CI/CD systems, incident management processes amongst others.


This is a challenging and rewarding role as it requires managing two different Engineering teams, their roadmaps and performance as well as our engineers’ wellbeing and work/life balance.


We offer hybrid work model: 3 days/week in our amazing, fun and modern Barcelona office.

What will I be doing? 🤔

    • Directly manage cloud and SRE Engineers with various levels of seniority
    • Define the roadmap of your teams and commit to its delivery
    • Execute performance reviews and help your engineers grow
    • Create a healthy work/life balance and culture in the teams
    • Pair with your engineers to guide them and to gain an in-depth knowledge of the platform
    • Cultivate a product mindset and add value to our developers’ life

What do we need from you? 😎

    • Strong technical background on cloud engineering (we use AWS) & SRE
    • Good knowledge and experience with software development
    • Experience managing cloud, “DevOps” or SRE teams
    • A product mindset to successfully contribute to our internal developer platform
    • Excellent verbal and written skills in the English
    • Comfortable working at scale-ups with high pace and constant change
    • A people person that always takes care of their teams’ wellbeing
