The Position: We’re looking for a Principal Software Developer

We’re looking for talented individuals to contribute to the development of our industry-leading Authentication solutions.

You will be the principal developer and technical lead of a talented software engineering team. Your role will be architect and develop the Identity Essentials product and occasionally contribute to the development of other products in the Identity portfolio. You should apply if you are passionate about cloud-native software engineering, problem solving, customer value proposition, software design and security. You will be working in a collaborative decision making team consisting of the product manager, software engineers, automation testing engineers, QA professionals and technical support. Depending on your profile you may be given the formal casket of the Technical Product Owner of the team.

How you will make an impact:

Architect role:

  • Act as a technical authority and assist the Scrum team in making proper technical and architectural decisions for new product features.

  • Ensure that the PBIs meet the corporate requirements on security and compliancy by partnering with security and legal teams

Software Developer role:

  • Contribute as a software developer writing code every sprint.

  • Conduct code reviews an Pull Requests and coach other team members on best practices of software design.

  • Analyze product requirements and convert to code.

  • Implement code for new product features, cooperating with the other Scrum team members.

  • Fix bugs reported by support or QA team members.

Product Owner role:

  • In cooperation with the Development Manager, write user stories based on the input and specifications from the Product Manager

  • Follow the business objectives set by Entrust Product Management team.

  • Seek feedback from customers and field support to ensure product meets customers’ requirements.

  • Stay on top of the Authentication competitive landscape.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or equivalent technical degree

  • Strong knowledge of Object-Oriented Design / Development applying design patterns and reactive architecture

  • 5+ years of experience in software development using C#

  • Experience with Visual Studio and Azure DevOps (Team Foundation Server)
